Benefits of Membership

1. Inductee Nominations
The annual selection process for new inductees begins with nominations from Members.
At the present time the Sports Hall of Fame has two categories for induction: Athlete and Founder.
The number of candidates to be selected in each category is pre-determined by the Board. The Board Nominating Committee prepares a short list of candidates for consideration by the Board. The final selection of inductees is made by the whole Board.
The induction of the newly selected Inductees will be formalized at the Annual Banquet held in October.

2. Constitutional Changes
The overall operation of the organization is governed by a Constitution and any member can propose amendments to this document. Simply deliver them in writing more than thirty days before the May Annual General Meeting for consideration, and voting on, by the General Membership.

3. At the present time, the Board of Directors consists of fourteen volunteer members of the community, elected on a rotational basis, by the General Membership, at the Annual General Meeting, for a three year term.

4. Members receive a newsletter in September.

The annual membership fee is $25.00.
